Maag GmbH was founded in 1982 by Jürgen Maag and was taken over by his successor, Ansgar Schonlau, at the beginning of 2018.

We are an internationally-oriented, owner-managed, progressively-minded business and offer reliable solutions for the provision of services and finishing of everything to do with flexible packaging.

Our services range from high-value HD flexoprinting via all modern laminating films to laser and hot-needle perforation. With us, you will find the entire processing of flexible packaging under one roof.

On a daily basis, we deliver high-value packaging solutions to clients around the world. Among these are leading businesses from the food industry and from the hygiene and health sectors.

We rely on our employees and are proud of the work that they perform daily with complete commitment for our clients. Their team spirit, creativity and willingness to give service enable solutions for every task.

We place great value upon our employees’ qualifications and are always training them further. At our printing works, there are purely trained printers at your disposal!

Setting ourselves new challenges and shaping the changes over time - these are not just sayings for us - instead the mainstay of our business philosophy.

In order to keep abreast of current demands, we participate in a variety of different internal and external initiatives and projects.

We think ahead – we pick up current megatrends and develop solutions, which provide our clients with competitive advantages. We set standards in relation to sustainability, digitisation and quality.

Our client orientation is the prerequisite for successful operation in the market. With the highest degree of service orientation, we are available with our expertise to all clients in an innovative and trusting partnership.

In addition to quality, reliability, hygiene and security, the optimisation of the value chain is the focus of our dealings.

Owing to the responsible use of resources, we contribute towards a sustainably-oriented value chain. The topic of sustainability has thereby three expressions with us: economical, ecological and social.

Together with our employees, we have established values which we live and breathe daily.

We develop flexible packaging, which increases the value, appeal and quality of our clients’ goods.

We are mindful of a packaging’s sustainability, during which we consider the packaging's entire product life cycle.

Owing to the optimisation of the processes within the value chain packaging, we are sparing of resources and reduce costs for our clients.
